Thailand: Part 2

Wat Pho is an incredible temple complex.  Combine all of the Buddha statues you've ever seen in your entire life, multiply that by 100, then enlarge each statue by 500.  All this math not working for you?  Well, what I mean to say is that there are a LOT of Buddha statues at Wat Pho, and many of them are VERY large.  As soon as you walk in, your eyes are filled with gold as you look onto only one part of the Buddha's foot or hand.  As your eyes travel upward, you see an immense statue that boggles the mind.

Of course, they do have smaller Buddha statues as well, and they are often right next to the larger Buddha.  Some are pristine, while others are peeling or cracked.  All are strikingly beautiful.
